Rails migrations never gave me as many problems as Django migrations, turns out Ruby on Rails had them earlier. Both beat what you had to do before; manually running your own alter table statements.

Some programming libs are very unfriendly to current AI, either they are too recent, too complex, verbose or just bad. At least with AI's help you can identify the problems and change fast.
